This winter, JetBlue will make it easier than ever for Floridians to find fresh powder in Bozeman with direct flights from Fort Lauderdale! Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport (BZN) announced yesterday that JetBlue will begin a new winter seasonal nonstop service between BZN and Fort Lauderdale, FL (FLL), on December 18, 2020. This exciting addition provides even more travel options for ski-seekers and Montana snowbirds looking to getaway.

Take Flight to BZN

"In the current environment, all of us at #FLYBZN Air Transportation Committee are pleased that JetBlue continues to add additional service to BZN. The new flights to and from Fort Lauderdale connect our leisure and business community to yet another important region of the country and further supports the local economy," Daryl Schliem, President and CEO of the Bozeman area Chamber of Commerce, said.

Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport serves as a year-round gateway to Yellowstone National Park. BZN also serves the recreation areas of Big Sky Resort, Moonlight Basin, and the Bridger Bowl Ski Area as well as the business centers of Bozeman, Belgrade, Big Sky, and Livingston and higher education at Montana State University.

Connecting Experience

The new service will be the first and only nonstop service between Florida and Montana. It will connect Montanans with the warm beaches of south Florida and Floridians with the ski slopes of southwest Montana. "We are excited to see JetBlue continue their expansion of service at BZN. The new Fort Lauderdale service complements JetBlue's winter/summer seasonal service to Los Angeles (LAX), Boston (BOS), and New York City (JFK)," Airport Director Brian Sprenger said. JetBlue is New York's Hometown Airline® and a leading carrier in Boston, Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood, Los Angeles, Orlando, and San Juan. JetBlue carries customers across the U.S., Caribbean, and Latin America.

Initial schedules will be Wednesday/Saturday service over the Christmas/New Year's holiday period (December 18, 2020 – January 6, 2021).
