The purpose of our tourism division is to enhance economic development of the community through the promotion of tourism and meetings.

convention & visitors bureau committee (CVB)

Chair: Daryl Schliem - BACC

objectives:
  • Coordinate and manage the distribution of tourism materials at the Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport & 19th Ave Rest Area.
  • Enhance tourism leads to local businesses.
  • Finalize CVB website rebuild.
  • Write and implement a joint tourism marketing plan.

tourism advisory council

Chair: Daryl Schliem - BACC

objectives:
  • Attend 3 Tourism Advisory Council Meetings.
  • Attend Annual Governors' Conference on Tourism.

goals:
  • Strengthen Gallatin County’s economy through the promotion of the region as a vacation destination and meeting place and partnering with the State of Montana Tourism Office.


tourism business improvement district committee (TBID)

Chair: Daryl Schliem - BACC

objectives:
  • Begin renewal of TBID funding.
  • Design and implement a marketing plan which enhances current tourism marketing efforts.
  • Partner with State, Bozeman CVB & other entities to leverage marketing dollars.
  • Recruit new citywide events.
  • Respond to City-wide RFP’s.

goals:
  • Enhance current tourism marketing efforts to attract new markets and continue to grow current markets.
